Florian Decker
Florian Decker is a Vienna-based contemporary dance artist and interdisciplinary researcher. He graduated with distinction from the Contemporary Dance and Ballet program at the Music and Arts University of the City of Vienna (MUK) and combines his dance practice with a background in software development and informatics. His artistic work explores the intersection of movement, technology, artificial intelligence, and embodied experience. In 2025, he received a Work Scholarship from the City of Vienna for a research project investigating the relationship between artificial and human bodies through the DANCR system. Florian is a member of H.A.U.S., a transdisciplinary collective exploring the somatic and spatial aesthetics of artificial intelligence. As a performer, he has collaborated with artists including Doris Uhlich, Katharina Holzweber, and Eva-Maria Kraft.
