H.A.U.S. lecturing @ Professional Development Program for Artists, Creatives, and Cultural Workers

We got invited to contribute with a best-practice lecture to “Hands-On AI” by “IG Freie Theaterarbeit” (“Interest Group for Independent Performing Arts”). They are offering a comprehensive, practical online continuing education program on AI. Early October to mid-December 2025. 18.11.2026.

Lecture held by Eva-Maria Kraft, Christoph Hubatschke, and Oliver Schürer: on the HAUS transdisciplinary, critical approach to AI technology by means of arts-based research. The development of the DANCR tool as an example of artistic work on the basis of AI technology:

The DANCR tool is an artificial intelligence platform designed for improvisation and choreography. It enables the integration of dance and AI in improvisation. This unique tool allows artists to train highly personalized AI models using their own dance data, which they can then use to improvise. This AI for radical personalization, based on tiny data, enables ecologically and socially sustainable work. In addition, the tool also serves as a dynamic archive through which ephemeral dance can be shared and performed over long periods of time.
